Cleansing Methods
Run stones and crystals under cold running water, where possible use a stream but a garden hose or kitchen tap will do.
Bury the stones and crystals in ground earth a clay pot full of soil will do, length of time depend on your own feelings (3 days, part or full lunar cycle etc)
Sun or moon cleansing leave in direct moonlight or sunlight for 3 to 7 days.
Pass through associated incense or smudge stick
Use your imagination and experiment by putting your crystal in direct sunlight or moonlight, on a large crystal cluster, under a pyramid, buried in the snow, or in the earth.
Once the stones and crystals have been cleansed you will need charge or empower the crystal to a desired purpose. Each crystal will have a number of correspondences and it is possible enchant a crystal with a desired purpose such as a charm or talisman . Always choose the correct crystal for the desired out come.To charge a crystal is to revitalize it. Think of what kind of energy you want to store in your crystal.
